Abstract painting

This is a tribute to women and their strength. I cut articles out of an Elle magazine paying tribute to women in Hollywood and used those cutouts in the art. The gold flakes symbolize the power of being a woman and the colors are meant to show diversity and flexibility. The dark spot over the pink paint symbolizes the trials of life that we overcome living in a world largely designed to accommodate men. This painting was done using acrylic, 100% gold flakes, and paper. The size is 48”x48”.
