Custom upcycled jewelry stand
I needed a sturdy stand to hang all my necklaces on and I wasn’t finding anything online, so I took some measurements and asked my uncle for help (he’s a career welder). He found some materials in his shop and we went to work. He cut the base using an ironworker. Then I used stick welding to join and hold the pieces in place. He used a grinder to smooth some of the welds down and round the corners, and a hammer to straighten the bent base (from the heat of the weld). Then I painted it and once dry, took home and added pads under the base. It measures 22” H x 14.5” W x 6.25” D and is made entirely from upcycled materials.
