Custom upcycled jewelry stand

I needed a sturdy place to hang my necklaces and couldn’t find a jewelry stand tall or sturdy enough, so asked my uncle (a career welder) to help me build one. I took some measurements and we went to work in his shop. He first cut the base using an iron worker. Then I stick welded the pieces in place with his help to keep the angles at 90 degrees. He then used a grinder to smooth some of the welds and round corners, and a hammer to straighten the base (the weld heat warped it). I then painted it and once dry, took home and added felt pads to the base. It measures 22” H x 14.5” W x 6.25” D, and is made entirely of upcycled materials.
