Slat wall project

I wanted to turn the entryway of our condo rental into a statement and decided to create a slat wall. I bought the furring strips at the hardware store and sanded them down, then stained and coated them. After prepping the wall and painting it black, I measured and cut each strip with a miter saw, then attached them to the wall with a brad nailer. I also decided to create a few special baseboard end caps to customize things a bit more. The tenant said she loves it.
